In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining our Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) area, ensuring that test environments are set up efficiently, safely, and according to project requirements.\nYou will work closely with automation engineers, hardware and software specialists, project teams, and Health & Safety representatives. Your work plays an important role in ensuring high-quality testing and smooth project execution in the largest switchgear manufacturer in the Nordics.\nAbout the role\nAs a Factory Test Area Coordinator, your responsibilities include:\nCoordinating and managing the FAT area and acting as its primary contact person\n\nPlanning FAT space reservations and preparing test environments based on project requirements\n\nParticipating in electrical safety meetings and supporting electrical safety responsible person in FAT-related matters\n\nEnsuring that tested panels are correctly earthed in accordance with VEO instructions\n\nSetting up and connecting power supplies and network connections according to project-specific instructions\n\nMonitoring the condition of tools, cables, and other FAT equipment, and arranging replacements when required\n\nManaging calibration of FAT test equipment\n\nDriving continuous improvement and 6S practices within the FAT area and promoting safe working environment in cooperation with the Health & Safety Manager\n\nCollaborating closely with automation engineers and other specialists using the FAT facilities\n\nAbout you\nTo succeed in this role, we believe you:\nHave a technical background in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field\n\nUnderstand electrical safety principles and safe working practices\n\nAre hands-on, practical, and enjoy coordinating multiple activities simultaneously\n\nHave good organizational and problem-solving skills\n\nCan work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders\n\nTake initiative and have a proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement\n\nCommunicate fluently in English; Finnish/Swedish skills are considered an advantage\n\nPrevious experience from testing, commissioning, switchgear manufacturing, electrical installations, automation systems, or industrial environments is considered beneficial.\nWhy join VEO?\nAt VEO, you will become part of an international energy technology company committed to enabling the energy transition.
