We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\nWhat we can offer you;\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays\nAccess to our company/people’s pension scheme\nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n24 hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household\nOne paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community \nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential\nWhat you’ll be doing;\nOrganise the sale and purchasing of secondary commodities (primarily recyclates) and products produced by Veolia Material Recovery Facilities and other Veolia sites across the UK.\nAdminister sales activity accurately and on time, ensuring all transactions and communications are processed within required timescales.\nCoordinate domestic and overseas logistics, including planning and managing export shipments to ensure timely, compliant despatch.\nLiaise with Veolia sites and external customers to manage stock control, service requests, and day-to-day operational queries.\nSource and coordinate transport subcontractors when work cannot be covered internally, aiming to minimise unexpected charges.\nTrack customer service and communication, resolving issues quickly and maintaining a professional, responsive service.\nResolve invoice disputes and queries for both suppliers and customers, escalating where necessary.\nEnsure customers have the correct information and documentation for duty of care, waste compliance and export procedures.\nSupport the wider commodities and logistics function, including providing cover for the other Commodities and Logistics Coordinator when business critical.\nProduce ad hoc management information as required and contribute to monthly KPI reporting in line with the Business Management System.\nWhat we're looking for;\nDegree qualified or equivalent, with previous logistics and office experience that involved regular customer contact.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain excellent attention to detail.\nConfident communicator with strong customer service skills, able to build effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.\nDynamic and resilient, comfortable working at pace and under pressure while maintaining a disciplined and professional approach.\nAble to work collaboratively as part of a team, while taking sole responsibility for specific customers and/or Veolia facilities.\nIT proficient, including intermediate capability in Google Sheets and confidence working with systems for stock control and reporting.\nGood understanding of compliance expectations, with the ability to follow standard processes and work in line with duty of care and regulatory requirements.\nDesirable: experience in waste management/recycling, negotiation skills, and/or language skills to support overseas logistics and customer communication.\n.\nWhat’s next?\nApply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
