We're on a mission of Ecological Transformation, and we're looking for a process engineer to help us lead the charge.\nAbout the Role\nYou will be responsible for all EICA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) aspects on water treatment projects. This includes low voltage switchgear & motor control centres, electrical installation, software control systems, operator interfaces and process instrumentation. Projects are typically within municipal and industrial water industry in the UK.\nWhat will I be doing?\nTechnical aspects for procurement of MCC, cabling, systems integration, process instrumentation, and electrical equipment\nProduce load & instrument schedules, equipment specifications\nDevelop software user requirements specifications (URS) following process design consultation\nReview sub-contractor drawings and specifications against client & VWT specifications\nConduct detailed technical bid evaluations of quotations\nConduct FATs for switchboard, MCC and PLC/HMI software\nConduct inspections & tests for electrical equipment\nResponsible for EICA design aspects of installation & commissioning\nVisit sites for client meetings and occasional installation supervision\nProvide assistance to tendering department in all EICA aspects\nReport internally on EICA aspects against budget and programme\nEnsure all activities are carried out safely and in line with QA procedures\n What you will bring to the role:\nEssential:\nDegree in technical/engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering preferred) or extensive practical experience\nExperience of similar role in UK water industry\nApplication of BS7671 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations\nStrong communication skills for interfacing with colleagues, suppliers, project managers, and customers\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google)\nFlexible working approach to deal with potential problems\nOrganisational skills for prioritising tasks\nHealth & safety awareness\nDesirable:\nGoogle Suite proficiency\nKnowledge of cable sizing software\nKnowledge of PLC programming software\nExperience of bus communications (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet TCP/IP)\nExperience of high voltage distribution\nFull driving licence\n At Veolia, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being, work-life balance, and long-term security.
