This role is to work as an Electrician mate on site to assist with electrical testing and to assist with PPMs, reactive works and additional tasks. The role will also include non electrical works and working alongside maintenance engineers\nWhat we can offer you:\nAccess to our company pension scheme\nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n24 hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household\nOne paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community\nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential\nStream - Employee financial wellbeing support: early access to your earned pay, savings, budgeting, financial coaching & reward\nWhat you'll be doing:\nAssist the Site Electrician and Maintenance Engineers with planned and reactive electrical tasks, including five-yearly electrical inspections, emergency-light testing, distribution-board testing and inspections, and fault finding.\nCarry out planned and reactive work allocated through the CAFM system, under the direction of the Site Electrician and in line with the agreed contract scope, site procedures and priorities.\nComplete PAT testing, electrical test and inspection activities, network cabling installations and other authorised maintenance tasks in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.\nAccurately complete job records, inspection documentation and CAFM updates before and after work. Prepare, follow and review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).\nComply with all Health and Safety, environmental and electrical procedures. Support ISO and EHS audits, maintain good housekeeping, and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition and calibrated within the required timescales.\nSupport maintenance shutdowns, out-of-hours work and the on-call rota when required. Participate in appropriate training, including working-at-height training, and work effectively with the Site Electrician, Maintenance Engineers and Veolia site team.\nNo responsibility for strategic growth, frequent contact face to face with the client. This role holder will predominantly be working with the onsite maintenance engineers.\nTake part in the on call rota\nWhat we're looking for:\nEssential\nEffective Communication - Foundation\nTime Management - Foundation\nContinuous Improvement - Foundation\nIT Proficiency - Foundation\nSelf starter\nEnthusiastic\nWilling to learn\nEffective team player\nSafety conscious\nGood housekeeping\nCore electrical qualification (EAL Level 1 & 2 Diploma or similar).\nKnowledge of electrical circuits and installations\nElectrical test and inspect\nEssential: EAL Level 1 & 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation or similar.
