Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.\n Job Description\nAs a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, focusing on ultrafiltration (UF) but including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), deoxygenation, and electro-deionization.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nConduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation\nConsult with customer management and operation teams\nEnsure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications\nMonitor and optimize equipment performance\nInstall and provide maintenance activities on various UF membrane configurations\nProvide excellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process and controls on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, chemical injection systems and automation hardware\nCreate and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed\nMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts\nMonitor and maintain chemical injection systems\nPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements\nReview customer plant installations and compare against Veolia's reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)\nTrain customer operators around operation and maintenance of their system\nOther duties as assigned\n Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nAbility to work independently and remotely with project teams\nExcellent customer service skills\nEducation & Experience:\nRequired\nMechanically inclined\nHigh School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent\n2+ years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment\nValid Driver’s License\nPreferred\nElectrical and/or controls experience\nBachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation\nWorking Conditions:\nBased in Oakville, covering GTA and 10% overnight travel \nMust be able to travel and work in Canada and travel to the US for training\nYou will be handling chemicals\n Join a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
