Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.\n Job Summary:\nAs a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nCarry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation\nConduct maintenance and calibration activities\nOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance\nCreate and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed\nConsult with customer management and operation teams\nProvide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system\nMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts\nMonitor and maintain chemical injection systems\nPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements\nReview customer plant installations and compare against Water Tech's reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)\nEnsure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications\nOther duties as assigned\nThe job description is not designed to capture all the employee’s responsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions of the role. Responsibilities may change over time and may be assigned at any time.\n Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nExcellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills\nIntermediate skills with Google Suite and Microsoft Office\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams\nEducation & Experience:\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment\nValid Class 5 Driver’s License\nPreferred\nBachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation\nWorking Conditions:\nMust be able to meet customer site access and security requirements\nTravel within the region as needed, up to 75%\nSupport emergency jobs as required\nThe company will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening.
