In the future, there will be the possibility of expanding the role to include electrical, instrumentation, and/or programming.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and client meetings\nRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, GAs, process design. guidelines, Electrical Schematics, I/O Lists, instrument and valve lists, Network Architecture, return of experience, and engineering best practices guides\nInterpret, comment, and follow contract and customer specifications\nDesign the complete detailed control logic for plant operation (Control Philosophy, Control Logic & Sequence Charts) with operator and equipment safety in mind\nManage budget, scope, and schedule and proactively report risks and opportunities to project teams\n Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nUnderstanding of low-voltage power distribution electrical design\nTechnical knowledge in industrial control systems\nUnderstanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics\nTeamwork spirit and good interpersonal relations oriented\nStrong oral and written communication skills; provide reports and support internal and external customers\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering\nAt least four (4) years of experience with control systems of Rockwell Schneider and/or Siemens PLC, HMI, DCS and/or SCADA design and programming\nValid passport and driver’s license\nAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment): I/O modules, PID controllers, VFD configuration, and Network communications: EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU\nAvailability to travel up to 30% per year (USA & Canada). The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
