Veolia’s mission is to resource the world and we hope you will join us!\n What your day might look like:\nDive into supplier data, analyzing market trends and compiling capability information to support strategic sourcing decisions.\nOrganize and track supplier proposals, cost models, and evaluation materials to ensure the team has accessible, up-to-date information.\nMonitor supplier performance, tracking KPIs across schedule, quality, safety, and cost metrics to identify trends and risks.\nCollaborate with project execution teams to track delivery timelines and flag potential schedule conflicts early.\nDevelop or refine process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency and clarity.\nAttend cross-functional meetings, take notes, and prepare summaries to keep stakeholders aligned on procurement activities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIn this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)\nSupplier Research & Market Analysis Support: Conduct preliminary market research on suppliers specializing in mechanical, electrical, and fabrication services. Compile supplier capability data, pricing information, and industry trends to support the Regional Technical Category Manager's strategic sourcing decisions and market analysis activities.\nProposal Documentation & Organization: Assist in organizing, tracking, and maintaining proposal documentation for custom turnkey projects. Support the compilation of supplier proposals, cost models, and evaluation materials to ensure all proposal costing and optimization activities are properly documented and accessible.\nCost Data Collection & Benchmarking: Gather historical project cost data, labor rates, material pricing, and industry benchmarks. Organize this information into accessible formats to support total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses and cost reduction initiatives led by senior team members.\nSupplier and Operational Performance Tracking & KPI Monitoring: Collect and compile performance data (workload, liquidation, schedule, quality, safety, cost metrics) and prepare summary reports to support post-award management and supplier performance reviews.\nContract & Compliance Documentation: Support the development and organization of contract templates, terms and conditions frameworks, and compliance checklists. Assist in ensuring documentation is current and accessible for negotiation and risk management activities.\nProject Execution Coordination Support: Serve as a liaison between the procurement team and project execution teams. Track project schedules, delivery timelines, and supplier commitments to support on-time delivery assurance and identify potential schedule risks early.\nStakeholder Communication & Meeting Support: Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute action items for cross-functional collaboration meetings with project teams, engineering, and suppliers. Support communication between procurement and internal stakeholders regarding project-specific needs.\nProcurement Process Documentation & Process Improvement: Collect current procurement workflows, sourcing processes, and supplier management procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing best practices across the team's operations.\nIndustry Standards & Compliance Research: Research and compile information on water industry standards, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and compliance frameworks relevant to custom turnkey/mechanical/electrical projects. Support the team's compliance and risk management efforts.\nData Entry & System Management (SAP/Ariba): Support data entry, maintenance, and reporting within procurement systems (SAP, Ariba). The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
