Supervisor will be responsible for leading all aspects of managing the production for the facility during assigned shift. The role is a key driver for Safety, Quality and On Time Delivery. Perform the daily operations of plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nRequires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies\nOversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees\nManages hourly population of employees\nResponsible for leading and managing the activities within the manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals\nResponsible for the planning, coordination and direction of production operations to ensure maximum output and quality\nMay be responsible for multiple product lines\nContributes to select, hire and train personnel where applicable\nEnsures that regulatory quality system requirements are met in the area.\nDrives compliance to area standards including policies and procedures\nAnalyzes and diagnoses machine and tooling problems and takes corrective measures to minimize downtime and interruption of schedules\nHandles special projects, as assigned and guided\nDevelop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organization\nDeliver products as part of a team\nWork on cross functional teams\n Qualifications/Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma / GED\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing including minimum 2 years of experience in a Supervisor role, Leadership role, Facilitator, Quality Facilitator etc\nMinimum 1-year experience in manufacturing\nDesired Characteristics:\nBS degree in engineering from accredited college or university\nStrong oral and written communication skill\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nAbility to influence others and lead small teams\nLead initiatives of moderate scope and impact\nAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneously\nEffective problem identification and solution skills\nProven analytical and organizational ability\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite\nWorking knowledge of LEAN six sigma\n At Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
