This individual can work anywhere in North America.\nYou will be responsible for guiding and driving a bid team to create a winning and executable solution, in partnership with our sales team. Your engagement spans the sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract signature and project handover. Specific responsibilities will include:\nLeading a Bid Team consisting of individuals performing functions such as Application Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, Contract Management, and others to ensure all elements of the offer are aligned with our strategic intent\nLead end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning through final submission.\nFacilitate strategy discussions, kick-off meetings, and regular rhythm calls to guide teams toward a unified, competitive proposal approach.\nDevelop and maintain detailed schedules and responsibility assignments to ensure complete and timely fulfillment of all requirements\nConduct thorough compliance reviews of all proposal materials, confirming that required content meet every stated RFP/RFQ requirements \nCultivate a culture of continuous improvement by taking on assigned initiatives and consistently tracking proposal performance capturing lessons learned and implementing meaningful enhancements that elevate proposal quality over time\nStructuring system solutions, including collaborating with the sales team and extended bid teams to develop technical and commercial strategy, scope, execution model, construction partner identification/qualification (as required by deal structure) and pricing\nIdentification, evaluation, prioritization, and development of risk mitigation and opportunity identification strategies (performance, contractual, execution, etc.)\nPreparing information and presenting during Leadership reviews\nAssisting the Sales team with client interaction and negotiation\nDeveloping and nurturing relationships with key, cross-functional, internal stakeholders across the Veolia business including Projects, Services and Chemical Monitoring Solutions (CMS)\nAnalysing and adjusting strategy based on new data/feedback\n Minimum requirements:\nWith a relevant and demonstrable track record in customer facing roles, influencing and negotiation solutions and structures along with excellent organizational skills, you will also need:\nBachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering field - Chemical or Mechanical preferred\n8+ years of experience in proposal management or project management, preferably within the water treatment\nDemonstrated experience managing complex, multi volume proposals \nFamiliarity with design-build, progressive design-build delivery methods\nExperience in identification and mitigation of business risks\nFluency in English (both written and verbal)\nRelevant Competencies and Capabilities:\nStrategic mindset to develop client focused value propositions\nCollaborative and have the ability to build trusted cross functional relationships and engaging effectively with stakeholders\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly \nWorking knowledge of contract structures and pricing frameworks\nProven ability to manage competing priorities with strong organization discipline and effective time management \nStrong leadership, facilitation and motivational capabilities \nStrong understanding of project execution\nInnovative problem solver who performs with agility and composure in fast paced deadline driven environment\nAbility to rapidly assess competitive landscapes and translate strategic direction into actionable plans\n At Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
