Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.\n Job Summary:\nThe Asset Care Service Technician will install and service water purification systems at customer sites. In this role, you will deliver, set up, and exchange ion exchange tanks to customers in commercial and industrial applications.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nDrive truck to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment to customer sites\nEnsure that the correct daily equipment is loaded, secured, and meets quality specs\nLoad and unload tanks on trucks and maintain correct inventory on board trucks as required\nComplete Vehicle Inspection Reports for pre-trip inspection\nKeep accurate accountability of inventory at each site and make changes as needed\nCommunicate changes through the proper channels and follow up to ensure that changes have been made\nTake water samples and conduct the following tests, including but not limited to TOS, resistivity, pH, C021 Cl21 and hardness\nAccurately record results and make suggestions or changes as required\nRinse ion exchange tanks to customer specifications at customer sites and ensure quality specifications are met\nPerform both dry and wet ion exchange tank exchanges\nPerform maintenance on equipment to include PVC repair and minor pump and motor repairs\nMaintain good housekeeping at all times\nFollow Water Tech and customer EHS policies and rules\nMaintain contact with customers on site, communicating effectively, politely, and responding to their needs\nMaintain good customer relationships\nAssist with equipment or product delivery outside normal scope when needed\nMay be required to be on call during non-business hours\nThe job description is not designed to capture all the employee's responsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions of the role.
