In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the field of industrial water treatment. You will gain exposure supporting water treatment systems and assist the organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.\nThis is a full-time co-op with an anticipated start date in May 2027 through August 2028. The job location will be based in Hamilton, ON.\nNature of work:\nYour responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);\nGenerate system drawings, PFDs, for use in on-site manuals and proposals\nConduct wet testing in laboratory on water samples\nActively monitor process equipment performance through online tools\nAssist in completing monthly reporting requirements\nManage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering chemical products as required\nPerform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals, etc.)\nWork with supervisors on plant equipment optimization opportunities\n Experience performing basic chemical tasks such as titrations, pH & conductivity measurements, and using other simple chemistry lab instruments\nBasic mechanical skills to help troubleshoot chemical feed equipment\nComputer skills - use of Microsoft Office, Visio, and online data Management\nStrong teamwork & communication skills\nAbility to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced work environment\nFull-time availability starting May 2027 through August 2028\nEducation:\nRising Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry\n Why Veolia?\nJoin a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
