Salary: £48,223.49 and Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week - excluding a 45-minute unpaid lunch break
Monday to Friday - plusworking 3 weekends in 8 (saturday and sunday with a rest day in the week to compensate for working during the weekend)
Shift start and end times will vary on a daily or weekly basis according to the needs of the business. This will be discussed in advance between you and your manager

What you'll be doing;
With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
- Driving to planned collections locations and loading waste into a walking floor trailer
- Ensure the vehicle is safely and properly loaded, operated and driven at all times while collecting, transporting or tipping waste.
- Undertake daily pre-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the transport office
- Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times
- Ensure all scheduled work is completed and compliant
What are we looking for?
- Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous driving experience
- Driver CP/ DIGI card
Desirable:
- Local geographical knowledge, including experience of driving in the area
- Experience in transport of waste and use of walking floor trailers
- RoRo experience and Wheel Loading Shovel training
