They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.\nWhether you’re looking to overhaul the industry, or just do a good day’s work, we know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\nWhat you'll be doing;\nDriving 26 tonne collection vehicles on a planned route\n\nHelping out loading bins & containers when required.\n\nCompleting daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.\n\nUsing onboard technology to complete work notes.\n\nComplying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.\n\nEnsuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.\n\nWhat we're looking for;\nEssential:\nValid UK Class 2 Licence\n\nAn up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.\n\nA can-do attitude and good time-management skills.\n\nBeing a team player is key to ensuring our collections run smoothly\n\nDesirable:\nPrevious Class 2 driving experience\n\nPrior experience in the Waste industry\n\nRear steering experience/understanding\n\nInterview Details:\nOn the day you may be asked to complete a driving assessment as part of the interview process, so please ensure you are potentially prepared for this.\nPlease note, if you have more than 6 points against your licence, or have DR10, or DG10 points, you will not be suitable for this position.
