This internship captures critical institutional knowledge and creates scalable training resources for current and future employees. You will work directly with experienced operators to translate complex technical processes into clear, accessible training materials that will serve as the foundation for ongoing knowledge management.\nWhat Your Day Might Look Like\nYour work will evolve throughout the internship, progressing from hands-on observation and documentation to material development and training delivery:\nWeeks 1-4: Shadowing experienced operators, conducting interviews, photographing and diagramming procedures, and creating process flowcharts\nWeeks 5-9: Writing work instructions, developing training manuals with visual aids, creating quick-reference guides, and incorporating operator feedback\nWeek 10: Conducting training sessions with plant staff, gathering feedback, making final revisions, and documenting recommendations\nKey Responsibilities\nKnowledge Capture Phase:\nShadow and interview experienced operators to understand regeneration processes\nDocument step-by-step procedures with photos, diagrams, and detailed notes\nRecord equipment specifications and safety protocols\nIdentify common issues and resolution methods\nCreate comprehensive process flowcharts\nMaterial Development Phase:\nWrite clear, technical Work Instructions\nDevelop training manual with visual aids and diagrams\nCreate quick-reference guides for operators\nOrganize all materials in an accessible, user-friendly format\nIncorporate operator feedback into revisions\nTraining & Handoff Phase:\nConduct training session(s) with plant staff to validate material accuracy\nGather feedback on training effectiveness and material clarity\nMake final revisions based on feedback\nDocument recommendations for future updates and knowledge management\n Our Ideal Candidate\nRequired:\nCurrently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.\nTechnical background (engineering, operations, or technical writing)\nStrong written communication skills\nAbility to translate complex technical processes into clear, understandable instructions\nAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nCuriosity and independent work capability\nRespect for safety protocols and collaborative mindset\nPreferred:\nExperience with technical writing or documentation\nFamiliarity with manufacturing or industrial environments\nAbility to create visual aids, diagrams, or instructional graphics\nExperience developing training materials or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nDeliverables\nComplete Process Documentation\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nTraining Manual with visual aids and diagrams\nQuick Reference Guides for operators\nTraining Feedback Summary and recommendations for future updates\n Why Veolia?
