Skilled in multiple laboratory techniques or testing areas.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nPerform routine laboratory testing or laboratory support per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)\nCalibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment\nManage inventory for required operating materials\nEnsure strict adherence to all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements\nEnsure strict adherence to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System requirements\nEffectively manage all assigned tasks to ensure completion by established due dates\nProvide support for other laboratory areas and complete additional tasks as assigned\nWorks under the direction of technical leaders\n Key Characteristics:\nExcellent record-keeping and documentation\nStrong mathematical and scientific understanding\nStrong attention to detail\nTechnical aptitude for operating scientific testing equipment\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nRequired\nKnowledgeable in laboratory safety, chemical handling, scientific concepts, and analytical testing equipment\nProficiency in multiple laboratory techniques and testing areas\nDemonstrated expertise in productivity software including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nSkills in implementing process improvements\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nProblem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment\nAbility to thrive in a high-volume laboratory testing environment\nPreferred\nDeveloping skills in two or more of the following areas: spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, electrochemistry, filtrations, extractions, gravimetry, metallography, or chromatography\nEducation & Experience:\nRequired\n3+ years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or techniques\nB.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related scientific field\nPreferred\n5+ years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or techniques\nExperience using a LabWare or similar LIMS\nExperience working in an ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organization\n Join a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
