Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.\n Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is currently searching for a Commercial Engineer to assume responsibility for Capital Sales, Service Agreements of various sorts, Build Own Operate systems and others as required, budgetary and final firm proposals for the USA and Canada but not limited thereto as well as periodic support for other Commercial Engineers within the groups.\nKey Characteristics (Highlight characteristics required to succeed in the role)\nDemonstrated dedication to safety\n\nSelf-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player\n\nStrong organizational and planning skills\n\nWritten and verbal Communication skills\n\nProblem-Solving Skills\n\nStrong analytical and administrative abilities for Engineering\n\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nProvide Commercial Engineering support and maintain a working knowledge of all active BMS projects, including generating budget and firm proposals, process designs, Process & Instrumentation and General Arrangement Drawings.\n\nGenerate budgetary proposals, process designs, Piping and Instrumentation Designs, General Arrangements, and final bid proposals.\n\nWorks closely with vendors and internal resources to obtain quotes for parts and services to be provided\n\nApply costing and process design strategies to position the company, in the early stages of project development, to increase the probability of success.\n\nTimely management of multiple tasks and deadlines\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with Sales Managers, Local Representatives and assisting Regional Sales Managers with sales calls, design kick-off meetings, and value engineering reviews\n\nAdhering to all internal procedures related to bid preparation, proposal tracking, Authorization of Order Packages, and sales forecasting.\n\nOther duties as needed and assigned by Manager\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExtensive computer experience with Google, MS Office Suite, Salesforce and SAP\n\nExperience generating and reading engineered systems P&ID and CAD drawings\n\nTime Management\n\nEngineering Principles\n\nProject Management\n\n Bachelor's degree in mechanical, environmental or chemical engineering, Chemistry or other Bachelor’s in Science\n\nMinimum of 3 years experience in water or wastewater engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with some knowledge of membrane process equipment.\n\nMinimum of 2 years experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical and commercial perspective, as related to contractual terms and conditions.\n\nFluent in English (written and verbal)\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in water or wastewater engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with some knowledge of membrane process equipment and ultra pure water.\n\nExperience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical and commercial perspective, as related to contractual terms and conditions.\n\n10% travel\n\nRemote and or Office Environment\n\nIndustrial and onsite environments\n\n At Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger\ncommunities.
