This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pro-active and passionate team.\nWhat we can offer you;\n25 days of annual leave\n\nRefer an Engineer to us once you’ve joined and earn £1000\n\nAccess to our company pension scheme\n\nFree physiotherapy service\n\nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\n\nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n\n24 hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household\n\nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential.\n\nWhat you'll be doing;\nWork as part of a team of other mechanical engineers or mechanical fitters, often consisting of two engineers across a range of sites\n\nCarry out complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements\n\nUndertake mechanical repairs and modifications to dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment\n\nCarry out inspections, services and repairs to customers’ dewatering assets machines\n\nCarry out pipework installations using plastic, stainless steel and mild steel materials and other ancillary equipment\n\nUndertake standby cover and overtime as required as well as flexibility to work away from home\n\nComplete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents\n\nComplete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork\n\nWork alongside on-site customer teams.\n\nLiaise on site with customers as the first point of contact\n\nLead the maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment and ancillaries on sewage and clean water treatment facilities.\n\nEnsure energy efficient operation of assets, minimise downtime and potential pollution risks by effectively maintaining assets\n\nHelp reduce raw material usage on assets by completing thorough service and maintenance tasks using first time fixes\n\nWhat we're looking for;\nNVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 3\n\nFull UK Driving License\n\nHands on engineering maintenance experience\n\nDesirable:\nCompex Trained\n\nConfined Space Trained\n\nFirst Aid Trained\n\nClean Water Qualification\n\nSHEA Water Qualification\n\nIOSH Managing Safely\n\nDSEAR Awareness\n\nPASMA Trained\n\nWhat’s next?\nApply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
