What you’ll be doing;
- Handle raw materials and support product quality control throughout the wood pellet production process.
- Monitor production activity to ensure operational KPIs are achieved.
- Carry out routine plant inspections and complete operational adjustments as required.
- Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently in line with training and site procedures.
- Collect, record and report accurate plant and production data.
- Work in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, policies and operational procedures.
- Complete ongoing training and development to improve the knowledge and skills required for the role.
What we're looking for;
- A full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport, due to the location of the site.
- Strong IT skills, including the ability to record and report operational data accurately.
- The ability to operate a range of mobile equipment, following appropriate training.
- Previous experience in a similar production, processing, plant or operational role would be advantageous.
- Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or operational training course would be advantageous.
- An understanding of quality control, KPI monitoring and safe plant operation.
- A willingness to undertake continued learning and development relevant to the role.
