Candidates must have direct experience in high-purity water, UPW systems, or semiconductor water infrastructure.\nAs an Sr. Applications Engineer, you'll be the first technical point of contact for our clients, partnering with Sales and Process Engineering to develop innovative water treatment solutions for complex, mission-critical applications. You'll own the complete proposal lifecycle-from lead qualification through system design, costing, and contract handover-while collaborating across global teams and time zones.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign & Engineering\nLeverage expertise in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry to design custom ultrapure water (UPW) systems\nWork across a diverse equipment portfolio including ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, UV destruction, electrodeionization, and ion exchange technologies\nDevelop process flow diagrams, mass balances, equipment selections, and system layouts with Process Engineering\nProposal Leadership\nOwn proposal schedules and coordinate resources across engineering teams\nManage vendor and subcontractor relationships throughout the proposal cycle\nEvaluate technical specifications, manage scope changes, and ensure on-time delivery\nCollaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, etc.) to develop comprehensive proposal packages\nClient Engagement\nCreate compelling proposal documents that showcase Veolia's superior process designs and integrated solutions\nSupport Sales with technical consultations and customer presentations\nTranslate complex engineering into clear client communication.\n Required\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline\nProven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies\nStrong foundation in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry\nExcellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills\nAbility to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nProfessional Engineer's License (PE) or ability to obtain one within 1 year\nDirect experience with water treatment systems and industrial operations\nFamiliarity with ultrapure water or semiconductor manufacturing applications.\n At Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
