It’s why we’re looking for someone who’s just as committed as we are, to push for genuine change and bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life.\nWe know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\nWhat you'll be doing;\nServe as primary point of contact for drivers when lead driver and Transport Controller are unavailable, and manage day-to-day welfare issues for drivers and team members.\nAssist with toolbox talk compliance, deliver business messages to drivers, and maintain strong verbal and written communication (face-to-face, phone, email) with all stakeholders.\nEnsure timely completion of KPI sheets, fuel/mileage trackers, and demurrage sheets without allowing backlogs to accumulate.\nModify work assignments as needed, communicate changes effectively to drivers, and plan proactively rather than reactively to stay ahead of operational needs.\nMaintain strong regular communication with internal and external customers, provide appropriate advice while consulting management when necessary.\nMaintain Veolia's customer focus value through a customer-first approach, resolve complaints/issues promptly, and update customers on ETA changes to ensure excellent service delivery.\nCommunicate effectively between internal and external customers, liaise with drivers on daily ETA updates, and coordinate with internal/external workshops as needed.\nParticipate in customer meetings with VHL management team, develop and maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure company image, reputation, and achievements are represented to maximum effect.\nWhat we're looking for;\nEssential:\nRoute planning knowledge \nGood understanding of IT and Data analysis\nEffective communication skills and customer service experience \nMust be proactive and well organised\nBasic numeracy and literacy\nProblem-Solving skills and attention to detail\nWell disciplined and able to work alone\nDesirable:\nIOSH (Can be obtained later in the role).\nOperator Licence awareness\n\nWhat’s next?\nApply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
