Headquartered in Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations across North America.\n Primary Duties/Responsibilities:\nPlan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution operations of raw materials and other supplies within facility.\nMonitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfers.\nCycle count stock items and record data using the Inventory Management System.\nStore items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses and storerooms.\nMaintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.\nDetermine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.\nExamine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.\nDocument quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.\nWeigh or measure materials, equipment, or products to maintain relevant records, using volume meters, scales, rules, and/or calipers.\nCompare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.\nCollect or prepare measurement, weight, or identification labels; and attach them to products.\nCommunicate with customers, vendors, testing labs to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services.\nWorks with the Maintenance and Engineering departments to review planned maintenance and plant engineering projects with regards to procurement of materials and services.\nAssists in preparing long term Outage plans.\nReviews critical asset needs and existing Preventative Maintenance tasks and updates procedures and plans.\nAssists in the receiving, storing and distribution of supplies and checks incoming orders against items listed on requisitions and invoices\nAccurately records receipts and withdrawals and directs invoices and credits to proper accounts.\nInvolved in ordering supplies from vendors.\nRequired to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime to support facility activities\nOther duties as assigned.\n Education/Experience/Background:\nHigh School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required\n0-2 years warehouse experience\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nStrong team player\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nTime management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines\nStrong customer service orientation\nComputer proficiency\nAbility to follow through on assignments\nRequired Certification/Licenses/Training:\nValid driver's license\nBenefits: Veolia’s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
