Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.\n Based in Minnetonka, MN, the Warehouse Supervisor will lead the Minnetonka warehouse operations and have direct supervision of warehouse team members and logistics specialists. The focus of this position will be coordinating the shipping, receiving and material handling of the Minnetonka facility and providing leadership to the team in safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory accuracy. This is a fast-paced job where communication with key stakeholders is essential to success.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nOversee all warehouse and logistics operations for the Minnetonka facility.\nMonitor daily performance and direct activities to ensure current commitments are met while actively seeking improvements.\nAnalyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to effectively lead and manage warehouse and logistics activities.\nManage inquiries related to shipping status, tracking shipments, proofs of delivery, etc.\nArrange shipments, and serve as the track, trace, and escalation contact for shipments.\nResolve freight claims and investigate shipment errors or service provider issues.\nEnsure the area meets all regulatory quality system requirements.\nResponsible for updating outdated documentation and submitting it through the Quality Management System (QMS).\nPrioritize safety above quality and productivity in all operations.\nLead injury investigations and drive continuous improvement projects, including participating in and/or leading cross-functional projects and Kaizen events.\nDrive compliance with area and site standards, including policies and procedures.\nDrive continuous improvement through changes to procedures, training, systems, and equipment.\nHandle special projects as assigned and guided.\nWork effectively on cross-functional teams\nProvide clear leadership and work direction to the team, ensuring adequate resources to meet requirements related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.\nTake ownership of the team's time tracking, coaching, and swiftly addressing any HR issues.\nManage the tracking of training, evaluate skills gaps against the skills matrix, the develop and execute plans for the timely training of material handlers and logistics specialists to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and service while balancing costs.\nConduct mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews for the team.\nContribute to the selection, hiring, and training of personnel as needed.\n Qualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a related field.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain logistics, transportation, or a related operational role.\nAt least 2 years of management experience overseeing 5 or more direct reports/staff, preferably in warehouse, material handling, or transportation personnel.\nPreferred experience running a satellite warehouse\nPreferred Qualifications & Skills:\nSafety Leadership: Proven ability to drive safety initiatives and lead improvements in safety culture.\nCustomer Focus: Experience in driving customer service enhancements.\nSystem Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with SAP (including WM) or other equivalent ERP systems.\nLogistics Expertise: Solid understanding of logistics practices and import/export compliance.\nCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to efficiently and effectively communicate.\nProblem-Solving & Detail Orientation: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.\nTechnology Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc., or Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.\nProfessional Attributes\nLeadership & Teamwork: Ability to provide leadership and direction to Team Members; a team player who is proactive and a self-starter.\nInterpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.\nAdaptability: Enjoys working in a fast-paced organization with a high sense of urgency.\nThis role will be primarily days, though will require some second shift work from time to time.\n Why Veolia?\nJoin a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
