Headquartered in Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations across North America.\n This position may require evenings and weekends after initial training has been completed.\nPosition Purpose:\nThe Waste Tracking Coordinator supports the accurate processing and recordkeeping of inbound waste shipments. This role works closely with receiving personnel and security to track shipment status, verify documentation, maintain required records, and support timely regulatory reporting.\nPrimary Duties/Responsibilities:\nCoordinate with receiving personnel and security to communicate shipment status and support the timely movement of loads through the receiving process.\nReview generator, transporter, shipment, and manifest information for accuracy and completeness before records are finalized.\nVerify that receiving details, including weights and designated locations, are accurately entered into facility systems.\nDocument rejected shipments and maintain related tracking records.\nTrack rail shipments and manage associated manifests and reporting deadlines.\nScan, organize, and maintain manifests and supporting shipment documentation.\nSubmit required hazardous waste manifest information and resolve submission errors or discrepancies.\nPrepare and maintain certificates of destruction and related records.\nResearch missing documentation and support the timely completion of billing records.\nOrganize, file, and archive shipment and job records in accordance with company procedures and record retention requirements.\n Education/Experience/Background:\nHigh School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required \nAssociate’s degree in a related field preferred \nPrior work experience of 3 to 6 months in a clerical position preferred\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Lotus Notes\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nStrong team player\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nStrong customer orientation\n Benefits: Veolia’s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
