Assigned activities will include assessment and testing for Sarbanes-Oxley, as well as operational and compliance reviews.\nWhat You’ll Contribute:\nPromoting an awareness of the importance of effective internal controls and corporate governance practices\nAssisting with execution of an enterprise risk management framework\nAssisting with the execution of the annual audit plan\nCoordination and documentation of transaction walkthroughs\nAssessing the design of internal controls and performing tests of operating effectiveness\nCoordinating with business process owners regarding effective IPE procedures\nClose coordination with external audit. All work to be performed in a manner that allows maximum audit reliance\nDevelop and present recommendations to management to mitigate risks\nAssisting management in the development of remediation plans for any identified control deficiencies\nProviding advisory services for new processes, applications or system functionality\nPerforming special projects or investigations as needed\nPreparing written reports and other communications to management, external auditors, and the Audit Committee\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience required\nStrong knowledge of auditing concepts, GAAP, SOX, COSO and risk-assessment practices\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nThe ability to use PC-based automated software tools and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels\nThis position requires excellent analytical, technical accounting, audit and communication skills.\nAdditionally, the position will require assessment of risks and appropriate tailoring of audit approach.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCPA or other audit related professional designation preferred\n4-7 years relevant work experience preferred\nTravel:\nUp to 20% travel may be required\nCompensation for this job is subject to market conditions, geographic considerations, the candidate’s unique skills and experience, state and local laws, and budget.
