The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Jekyll-based website, administering GitHub repositories, leveraging AI-assisted development platforms to deliver high-quality web solutions, and serving as the primary technical steward of the organization's digital presence.\nWork Location: Pune, India (work from office)\nKey Responsibilities\nWebsite Development & Maintenance\nAdminister and update the organization's Jekyll-based website, including the authoring and modification of content, templates, and configurations in accordance with established standards\nEnsure the website remains current, functional, and aligned with organizational objectives across all browsers and devices\nOptimize website performance, speed, and capacity to effectively handle traffic demands\nImplement and maintain website security measures to protect sensitive data and user information\nMonitor website traffic, uptime, and performance metrics, escalating issues as appropriate\nCode Quality & Testing\nEvaluate and author code to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with relevant browsers, devices, and operating systems\nConduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner\nWrite clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in accordance with organizational development standards\nRepository Management\nCreate, organize, and maintain GitHub repositories; enforce version control best practices including branching strategies, pull request workflows, and comprehensive documentation to support team collaboration and code integrity\nAuthor and maintain README files, wikis, technical guides, and internal documentation for all managed codebases and workflows\nAI-Assisted Development & Hosting\nUtilize Claude Code to develop, test, and deploy code efficiently and accurately\nEmploy Cowork to design, build, and host web properties on behalf of the organization\nStay current with emerging AI-assisted development tools and apply relevant advancements to improve operational efficiency\nIntegrations & Data Management\nManage integrations with third-party APIs, plugins, and back-end web services as required\nOversee the integrity and functionality of data connections between front-end interfaces and underlying systems\nStakeholder Collaboration & Communication\nServe as the primary technical liaison between non-technical staff, designers, and external vendors, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions\nCollaborate with designers and content stakeholders to ensure visual and functional design intent is accurately realized\nCommunicate proactively with relevant stakeholders regarding project status, technical decisions, and potential risks\nGather, clarify, and refine specifications and requirements based on organizational and technical needs\nContinuous Improvement\nMaintain awareness of evolving web technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply relevant advancements to organizational operations\nIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the organization's web infrastructure on an ongoing basis\nRequired Qualifications\nDemonstrated proficiency with Jekyll or comparable static site generator frameworks\nWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, Markdown, and Liquid templating\nProven experience with Git and GitHub, including repository administration, branching, pull requests, and issue tracking\nAbility to effectively operate Claude Code and Cowork in a professional development environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of independent judgment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n3-6 years of experience in Web development.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions\nFamiliarity with web hosting environments and deployment workflows\nExperience with third-party API integrations and back-end data services\nPrior experience integrating AI-assisted tooling within a structured development practice\nKnowledge of web security principles and best practices\nBenefits\nVeradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work.
