Training Consultant, Onsite, Pune

POSITION-SPECIFIC OVERVIEW

This position delivers the curriculum designed by the Training Manager to new and existing associates across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end RCM functions. Acting as the primary point of contact for learners during onboarding, nesting, and refresher training, the Trainer translates policies, payer rules, and system workflows into engaging, easy-to-follow instruction, and closely tracks each trainee's progress toward production readiness. This is a hands-on, floor-facing role that blends classroom facilitation, on-the-job coaching, and performance feedback to ensure every associate reaches proficiency quickly and sustains it once in production.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess learning and performance needs by partnering with business leaders, clients, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and training requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain training programs, curricula, learning materials, job aids, and performance support resources that support role effectiveness and business objectives.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs to employees, clients, and end users on products, processes, workflows, services, and organizational initiatives.
• Translate technical, operational, and business concepts into engaging, audience-appropriate learning experiences that promote understanding and skill development.
• Support implementation, activation, and change initiatives by developing and delivering training that enables successful adoption of new solutions, technologies, processes, and operational practices.
• Facilitate onboarding, knowledge transfer, and readiness activities to accelerate learner proficiency and support successful transitions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, participant feedback, performance metrics, and stakeholder input, and implement continuous improvements to learning programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content remains accurate, current, aligned with product enhancements, operational requirements, and organizational priorities.
• Provide coaching, consultation, and ongoing learning support to reinforce knowledge application and improve individual and team performance.
• Maintain training records, learning content repositories, and instructional documentation in accordance with established standards and processes.
• Monitor industry trends, adult learning methodologies, and emerging training technologies to enhance learning effectiveness and user engagement.
• Contribute to the development of learning strategies and best practices that support workforce readiness, operational consistency, customer success, and business performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Information Technology, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years’ experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs, learning solutions, or instructional content.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning facilitation techniques.
• Experience creating training materials, including presentations, job aids, guides, e-learning content, and performance support resources.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex business, operational, or technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop solutions that address knowledge and performance gaps.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and learning technologies used to develop and deliver training.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, software, SaaS, revenue cycle management, clinical operations, or related industries.
• Experience supporting software implementations, system deployments, business process changes, or organizational transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, reimbursement processes, medical coding, or healthcare operations.
• Experience with instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, or similar methodologies.
• Experience developing e-learning content using learning authoring tools.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics.
• Experience facilitating virtual instructor-led training and large-scale training programs.
• Change management, organizational effectiveness, or user adoption experience.
• Experience consulting directly with clients or customer-facing stakeholders.
• Professional certifications related to training, learning, instructional design, project management, or change management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Primarily works in a standard office environment. Sit/Stand at a desk working consistently on a computer. Frequently talking, hearing, seeing, and heavy use of a keyboard and mouse. May require working after hours.

Job Location: Pune, India office.

Working Arrangements: 5 days/Week, US Work Hours (7:30pm to 4:30am IST)
