You will work with chemists and cross-functional partners in engineering, marketing, operations, production, and service to transform analytical concepts into reliable, manufacturable solutions that help customers address important water-analysis challenges.\nThis position is part of the Chemistry department, located in Loveland, Colorado, and will be onsite.\nThe anticipated salary range is $55,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience, and this position is also eligible for bonus pay.\nIn this role, a typical day will look like:\nDeveloping new chemical methods of analysis for use with Hach instrumentation.\nApplying analytical techniques, chemical principles, and laboratory practices to new analysis products.\nDeveloping reagent formulations and quality control procedures while partnering with operations to support manufacturability.\nPlanning and conducting experiments, interpreting results, and using statistical analysis or design of experiments when appropriate.\nDocumenting development work through clear laboratory records, status updates, and technical reports.\nCollaborating with engineering, marketing, production, service, and customer-facing teams to solve analytical problems and understand market applications.\nMaintaining a safe laboratory environment and following quality systems, hazardous materials, and departmental procedures.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related scientific field.\nAt least one year of hands-on laboratory experience outside standard coursework, gained through professional employment, an internship, a co-op, or substantive university research.\nExperience applying chemical principles and analytical laboratory techniques to prepare, test, characterize, or troubleshoot chemical samples.\nDemonstrated experience documenting experiments, analyzing results, and communicating technical information to both technical and nontechnical partners.\nAbility to work on site in Loveland, Colorado.\nHach is proud to be part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto, a global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
