These solutions support our customers in leveraging intelligent water technologies to protect the environment and human health. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, domain experts, and business leaders to design, build, and operate cutting-edge predictive analytics products that leverage AI and ML.\nThis position is part of the Engineering Team in Vancouver, Canada, and will be Remote, with optional in-office collaboration on Wednesdays.\nIn this role, a typical day will look like:\nWork on cutting edge applications that detect sensor anomalies, digital twins that simulate water treatment plants, and LLM power agents that synthesize water data to deliver critical intelligence to our customers.\nOwn features end to end: requirements, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.\nBuild and operate cloud-native services on AWS and Azure that scale with demand.\nWrite clean and scalable frontend (Angular) and backend (C#) code.\nChampion AI adoption and push the boundaries on how AI can automate and accelerate our software development lifecycle processes while following AI governance best practices.\nDrive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and team health.\nManage and enhance development infrastructure, including build and test systems.\nImprove testing frameworks and contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nPost-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of industry experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale, data-intensive, cloud-native applications using microservices architectures on AWS or Azure.\nExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.\nStrong background in Microsoft development (.NET, C#, and related technologies).\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills\nGenuine interest in using AI to accelerate software development.\nHands-on experience with agentic engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.\nPreferred skills:\nExpertise in database design and development using SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.\nBackground in environmental science, time series data, IoT, or industrial controls is an asset.\nExposure to data science or machine learning concepts. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 CAD per year.
