You’ll Do\nAdminister and monitor anesthesia for surgical procedures \nCalculate medication dosages, infusion rates, anesthetic protocols, and fluid therapy with accuracy \nProvide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care \nMonitor ECG, blood pressure, respiratory rate, temperature, and other vital parameters \nMaintain detailed anesthesia and medical records \nPerform laboratory diagnostics and collect biological samples \nAssist with imaging procedures, necropsies, and tissue collection \nOperate and troubleshoot veterinary and laboratory equipment \nSupport animal welfare through enrichment, behavioral assessments, and exceptional clinical care \nMentor and train junior technicians\n\n Required Qualifications\n2+ years of veterinary technician experience \nStrong anesthesia experience in a surgical setting \nDemonstrated proficiency in medical math, including medication calculations, CRIs, and anesthesia-related calculations \nKnowledge of aseptic technique and operating room procedures \nExcellent attention to detail and clinical observation skills \nAbility to independently administer and maintain general anesthesia\n\nPreferred
