We are seeking a Manager of Strategy and Operations to work directly with the chief of staff on the company's highest-priority strategic and operational initiatives. This role is built for a candidate from a top-tier business school who can take complete ownership of ambiguous, zero-to-one problems, from launching new business verticals to supporting investor and board-level reporting. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution inside a fast-scaling AI company.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
End-to-End Strategy and Execution:
- Own new strategic projects end-to-end from problem definition and structuring through to execution, tracking, and delivery of outcomes.
- Break down ambiguous, 0-to-1 business problems into clear frameworks, workstreams, and execution roadmaps.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, Finance, Ops) to ensure on-the-ground execution stays aligned with strategic intent.
- Proactively track progress against milestones, flag risks and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution.
Establishing New Business Verticals:
- Support the 0-to-1 build-out of new business lines, including market sizing, GTM planning, and early-stage execution.
- Design and implement processes, workflows, and SOPs as new verticals scale.
- Finance Operations Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, and vendor/contract management for new initiatives.
- Partner with the finance team on cost optimization and unit economics for new verticals.
- Marketing/PR Support: Planning and execution of marketing and PR initiatives tied to new business lines.
- Coordinate with external agencies and partners as required.
Compliance:
- Ensure new verticals are set up in line with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Work with legal and compliance stakeholders to close open items ahead of launch.
Investor Reporting and Board Meetings:
- Assist the Chief of Staff in preparing investor updates, board decks, and periodic performance reports.
- Coordinate data collection across teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Support action-tracking and follow-ups arising from board meetings.
Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM from a top-tier business school (IIM or equivalent) mandatory.
- 1-2+ years of relevant work experience (pre-MBA or post-MBA) in strategy, consulting, operations, or a similar high-ownership role.
- Strong structured problem-solving with first-principles thinking on ambiguous business problems.
- Excellent command over Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides; working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment.
- Sharp written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity to work directly with senior leadership and investors.
