You will plan and execute meetups, workshops, and community programs that build meaningful connections, deepen engagement, and bring our brand to life.\nThe Ideal candidate is creative and scrappy. You will build relationships with developers and community partners, collaborate across teams, and own event logistics, tracking, and reporting to measure impact and improve future experiences.\nThis position will be based out of the SF office in a hybrid basis (3 days/week) and includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPlan and execute a wide range of events, meetups, hackathons, developer events, and programs both in the HQ office and at outside venues\nTake new community programs from zero to one, turning ideas into repeatable experiences that connect developers and grow engagement\nCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution\nManage event timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all deadlines are met\nCoordinate with support staff, including catering, AV, and facilities tech, to ensure all event requirements are fulfilled\nMaintain accurate event records, including attendee lists, budgets, and post-event reports\nProactively identify and resolve potential issues or challenges related to events\nContinuously seek opportunities to improve event processes and enhance attendee experiences\nProvide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations and attendee satisfaction\nManage event-related communication, including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups\nAbout You:\n3+ Years of experience in developer advocacy, devrel, community, or a similar role, running developer facing events, hackathons, etc.\nHave creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet\nAre meticulous and have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events\nHave strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously\nPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders\nAre able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment\nHave flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, as required by event schedule\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive compensation package, including equity.\nInclusive Healthcare Package.\nLearn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.\nFlexible Time Off.\nWe will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.\nThe San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $118,000 - $163,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
