Reporting to the Sr. Accounting Manager, this role will own assigned operational accounting areas and be a key contributor to the monthly and quarterly close, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support FP&A and business decision-making.\nThis position will have hands-on responsibility for key accounting areas, including but not limited to accruals, lease accounting, capitalized commissions, and payroll accounting. This position will also have involvement in the accounting for subsidiaries related to M&A activity. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams and external providers to support process improvements, automation, and consistency across the accounting function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nIf you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of assigned areas.\nPrepare financial reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership, including detailed fluctuation and trend analyses.\nPrepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.\nPartner with FP&A to align accounting results, ensuring consistency between actuals, forecasts, and business drivers.\nLead or support process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline month-end and quarter-end close activities, improve internal controls, and enhance end-to-end operational effectiveness.\nBuild and use AI agents to automate daily activities.\nSupport M&A activities as they arise, including onboarding new entities.\nAssist with audit and review processes by preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and supporting testing efforts.\nSupport other special projects as they arise.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.\n3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting and/or high-growth private company experience.\nStrong understanding of US GAAP - familiarity with FASB ASC standards, and comfortable doing some research independently. Solid foundations in the key accounting areas mentioned above. \nHands-on, detail-oriented accountant with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities. \nProcess-oriented and curious, with an interest in leveraging AI, automation, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. \nExperience working cross-functionally to align accounting processes with business operations and reporting needs. \nStrong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and explain accounting concepts clearly. \nComfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive compensation package, including equity.\nInclusive Healthcare Package.\nLearn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.\nFlexible Time Off.\nWe will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.\nThe San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location.
