In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Solutions Architects who support our sales teams across pre and post sales. You will drive technical excellence, mentor the team, and partner closely with sales leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts. This position will be based in Sydney, Australia. \nWhat you'll do\nLead, develop, and manage an APAC SA team, including training and career development.\nEnsure technical excellence across the pre and post sales cycle.\nProvide hands-on support for key accounts as needed (presentations, architecture reviews, migration plans).\nOversee and coach SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals.\nPartner with our engineering org to provide product feedback from the field.\nDevelop repeatable plays from trends you are seeing across your team.\nTrack and report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership quarterly.\nOwn org planning, staffing, budgeting, and regional recruiting.\nWhat you need\n8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture/Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales roles, with 2+ years in a leadership position.\nStrong background in web technologies (Next.js, React, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure).\nProven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.\nDemonstrated success working with enterprise and commercial customers across diverse industries.\nStrong understanding of modern software development workflows (CI/CD, DevOps, frontend frameworks).\nExperience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive customer success.\nBonus if you\nHave experience working with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.\nHave led SA teams at a high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure company.\nBring expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization.\nAre comfortable presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive compensation package, including equity.\nInclusive Healthcare Package.\nLearn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.\nFlexible Time Off.\nWe will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.\nThe on target earnings (OTE) pay range for this role is $280,000 - $350,000 AUD.
