Ranked the#1 firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group and Verdantas employees, you won't be just joining a firm; you'll be investing in your career.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCivil Engineering design of recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects\n\nAutoCAD Civil 3D Design work\n\nPrepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects\n\nDesign various civil engineering-related projects, including site grading and drainage improvements, drinking water treatment, distribution, and storage, wastewater collection, road, trail, and other pedestrian facilities\n\nPoint person in charge of the execution of the technical design and permit application preparation, with assistance from other staff on the team, reports directly to the Project Manager\n\nServe as the engineer of record and stamp reports, plans, drainage calculations, and other documents\n\nMentoring fellow engineers\n\nResponsible for QA/QC review\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor of Science in civil engineering or a similar field; higher education preferred\n\nNH PE license is required; VT, ME, MA preferred\n\n5+ years of professional experience in the practice of civil engineering in northern New England or a similar setting\n\nExperience with AutoCAD Civil3D and stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD or similar, WaterCAD, and Bluebeam\n\nTechnical experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, and site design and permitting in New Hampshire or a similar regulatory environment\n\nSound understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydrology, water and sewer systems, and roadway/parking design\n\nStrong technical skills\n\nValid driver’s license; occasional travel required\n\nAbility to complete field work, including carrying equipment and walking on undeveloped sites\n\nSalary Range:\nThe starting salary for this position is $85,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
