This hands-on role focuses on supporting field operations, ensuring quality and compliance across a variety of electric distribution infrastructure projects.\nJoin our team, and your career will be amplified by a culture of empathy, innovation, and life balance, recognized by employees as the top firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group!\nWhat You'll Do:\nMap and inventory existing overhead and underground distribution systems in the field, supporting the design and providing input on system rebuilds and upgrades\nIdentify system and safety issues in electrical systems\nCoordinate preconstruction meetings between clients and construction contractors\nPerform construction inspections and spot checks to ensure construction meets design and safety standards\nPerform post-construction inspections supporting as-builts and ensuring safe and reliable electricity distribution for residential, commercial, and utility clients\nCompletion of field documentation in a timely manner, such as job safety analysis (JSA) forms, project field reports, field notes, monitoring, and chain-of-custody forms\nMaintain detailed records of work performed and maintain strong communication with the office staff\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n2+ years of experience with electric overhead and underground distribution systems\nStrong knowledge of electric distribution systems and equipment, including but not limited to: transformers, insulators, switches, conductor, elbows, and tees\nAbility to read and interpret electrical distribution job packages\nCapable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment\nCapable of spending significant time in the car while driving to various job sites\nMust be able to carry up to 50 lbs. without accommodation\nCommitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\nMust have and maintain a valid Driver’s License\nGroundman experience is a plus.\nSalary Range:\n$27-$40/hour\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
