We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to support innovative water and wastewater projects in Ohio. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced Project Managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that improve essential infrastructure for communities. From preparing reports and hydraulic models to developing design plans and participating in field investigations, you’ll play a key part in shaping sustainable water systems while advancing your technical expertise.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAssist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks\nPerform technical engineering work associated with water and wastewater engineering including:\nPrepare engineering reports and feasibility studies\nPrepare engineering-related calculations and visual aids\nDevelop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis\nParticipate in field investigations\nPrepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections\nComplete various permitting applications\nAttend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors\nProvide construction administration of water and wastewater projects\nSome mentoring and delegation of work tasks to junior staff\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater or other related field\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred\n2+ years of experience in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects including design, analyses, and studies\nProficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat\nExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required\nFamiliarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nSalary Range:\nTheminimumsalaryforthispositionis$85,000(negotiablebasedonexperienceandqualifications).\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
