Ranked the #1 firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group and Verdantas employees, this isn’t just a job-it’s your next big step.\nWhat You'll Do:\nProvide technical planning and design support on various utility projects that may include storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution, and various other civil engineering projects\nPrepare engineering calculations to support design \nPrepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards \nPrepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D Civil 3D \nPrepare plans and specifications for public bid \nPrepare/assist with permit submittals \nPrepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities \nAssist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks \nDocument design changes and communications \nConduct on-site inspections as needed \nPrepare project status and other reports \nAssist Project Managers \nAttend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc. \nWhat You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution\n2-4 years of experience in civil-site and municipal engineering\nFamiliarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software is a plus \nFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred\nEIT Preferred\nFamiliarity with ArcGIS software is a plus \nSalary Range:\nThe compensation range starts at $70,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
