At Verdantas, your career goes beyond the expected, and your work helps build a better world.\nReady to shape the future of resilient communities?\nWhat You'll Do:\nPlan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of due diligence assessment, environmental monitoring, and reporting activities for multiple projects in a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate, industrial, institutional, and public sector clients\nEstablish and maintain working relationships with peers, junior staff, clients, and vendors to develop scopes of work, written proposals, and final deliverables\nManage field and peer staff, subcontractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders to develop and meet project schedules, milestones, and financial goals for successful project completion \nSuccessfully manage and track project budgets and evaluate project profitability\nTrain, supervise, and mentor project staff\nPrepare, oversee, and review reports that demonstrate sound conceptual site model development, technical writing, and critical thinking skills\nUtilize knowledge of key State and federal regulations (i.e., Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites, Remediation Standards, Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, etc.) and NJDEP CSRR Guidance Documents\nMaintain current knowledge of environmental regulations, technologies, and practices\nDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a sense of pride, ownership, and commitment to contributing to high-quality end results for our clients\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline\n4-8 years of experience in site investigation and remediation, with 2-6 years of project management experience, including proven success in developing and managing project scopes, proposals, timelines, budgets, staffing, and associated deliverables\nStrong working knowledge of New Jersey environmental laws, regulations, and general practices; experience in ASTM transactional due diligence strongly preferred\nExperience with proposal preparation accompanied by strong technical writing skills\nDemonstrated experience with site characterization, environmental sampling techniques, methodologies (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air, etc.), data analysis, remediation technologies, etc. \nDemonstrated success working on a variety of projects and for a variety of clients\nDesire to work in a collaborative environment, including active participation in office meetings and working groups, as well as willingness to work with regional or company-wide staff from all levels\nDemonstrated ability for client satisfaction, including strong interpersonal and communication skills\nExperience managing staff, subcontractors, and client representatives\nProven approach to hold workplace safety in the highest regard, and the ability to abide by company health and safety procedures and initiatives\nProficiency, adaptability, and the ability to inspire the use of various software, technology, and digital tools\nSalary Range:\nThe compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
