In this role, you will support a variety of transportation, infrastructure, and environmental compliance projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental permitting, natural resource investigations, and regulatory compliance services for our clients.\nWhat You'll Do:\nConduct and support environmental permitting efforts\nSupport PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects and associated environmental compliance requirements\nPrepare environmental documentation and support NEPA environmental clearance activities\nConduct wetland delineations, stream assessments, and natural resource investigations\nPerform field surveys and support threatened and endangered species investigations, including bat and bog turtle habitat assessments\nPrepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory correspondences\nCoordinate with regulatory agencies, project managers, and clients\nSupport fieldwork, data collection, and environmental compliance monitoring activities\nCollaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, planners, and permitting specialists across Verdantas\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, or a related scientific field\n2 to 4 years of relevant environmental consulting experience.\nExperience supporting environmental permitting and regulatory compliance projects.\nKnowledge of Section 404 permitting, Chapter 105 permitting, and environmental regulations applicable within Pennsylvania\nExperience with NEPA documentation and environmental review processes\nFamiliarity with wetland delineations, natural resource investigations, and field data collection\nStrong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team\nValid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required\nSalary Range:\nThe starting salary for this position is $63,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and licensing status.\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
