At Verdantas, your career goes beyond the expected, and your work helps build a better world.\nReady to shape the future of resilient communities?\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDevelop project plans, including project scope of work for complex multi-discipline-based substation Engineering projects and EPC projects\n\nManage substation project execution, including project scope, schedule, budget, and project resources, including external vendors, consultants, and contractors\n\nResponsible for the direct management and supervision of assigned direct reports\n\nResponsible for building, scaling and leading a high-performing team of engineers\n\nEffectively track and stabilize projects, implement solutions to obstacles, and ensure client goals are achieved\n\nAttend client meetings and communicate concerns and changes with the client to ensure a positive relationship and growth opportunities\n\nPrepare and review preliminary designs\n\nPrepare proposals, including budgetary estimates\n\nLead the development of plans, specifications, studies, estimates, material lists, and other deliverables\n\nEnsure team adherence to QA/QC program\n\nControl building layout/plan and section/elevation drawings\n\nLead, mentor, and help grow a team of engineers and designers:\n\nManage day-to-day activities for your team\n\nSet goals and expectations for each team member\n\nAssist in annual performance reviews\n\nDevelop new, or modify existing:\n\nElectrical layout/plan of substation equipment and structures\n\nSubstation foundation layout/plan drawings\n\nSection/elevation views from layout/plan drawings\n\nConduit layout/plan drawings\n\nSubstation grounding layout/plan drawings\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering\n\n10+ years of direct substation physical and electrical engineering experience.\n\nProfessional Engineering license in any state and the ability to acquire further licensure in other states.\n\nA combination of education and a demonstrated related experience may be considered in lieu of education and experience requirements.\n\nSolid comprehension and application of design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.\n\nProficient with Windows-based software such as Word and Excel, which are frequently used to develop project deliverables.\n\nAbility to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs.\n\nAbility to work in a team environment with others including, but not limited to, Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and drafters in multi-discipline groups.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail and work product quality.\n\nSalary Range:\n$151,900-195,300\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
