Named the#1 firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group, you’ll be part of a team that values your impact, supports your growth, and celebrates your success every step of the way\nWhat You'll Do:\nCollaborate with project managers to understand survey requirements and objectives\n\nPlan, prepare, and organize survey field projects, including the allocation of resources and equipment\n\nLead and supervise a survey crew, providing guidance and direction to ensure efficient and accurate survey operations\n\nConduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of survey team members.\n\nFoster a positive and collaborative team environment\n\nConduct field surveys using various surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors, drones, and 3D scanners\n\nEnsure that surveys are conducted in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements\n\nOversee the collection of accurate field data and measurements\n\nImplement quality control measures to verify the accuracy and reliability of survey data\n\nReview and analyze survey data to identify and resolve discrepancies\n\nMaintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment\n\nCoordinate with the equipment manager to ensure that all surveying tools are in good working condition\n\nCommunicate with clients to understand their surveying needs and address any concerns or issues\n\nProvide regular updates on project progress and ensure client satisfaction\n\nEnforce and adhere to safety protocols during field surveys to prevent accidents and injuries\n\nPromote a culture of safety within the survey team\n\nWhat You Bring:\nAssociate degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field; Higher education preferred\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 1 of those years in project management\n\nProficient in the use of surveying instruments and software\n\nCapable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment\n\nMust be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally, with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances\n\nMust have a valid driver’s license\n\nA drone license is preferred\n\nDemonstrated strong leadership skills\n\nExcellent problem-solving abilities\n\nSalary Range:\nThe compensation range for this position is $30 - $36 per hour, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.\nBenefits:\nFlexible Work Environment \nPaid Parental Leave \nMedical \nDental \nVision \nLife and AD&D Insurance \nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability \n401(k) with Company Match \nPaid Time Off + Holidays\nVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
