Join us and become part of the journey using technology to help the world trust faster.\n We're hiring a Business & Data Analyst to support the consolidation of an acquired screening platform into Veremark. You'll work under the direction of our M&A PMO, delivering analysis and data tasks against our established integration playbook.\nVeremark is a background screening and workforce trust technology company. Employers use us to run pre-employment checks, to verify criminal records, right to work, references, identity, credit and more, through our platform and integrate us with their ATS and HR systems.\nYou'll sit in the PMO's lean core team, taking direction from the Program Director and supporting the operations, HR and finance leads, product and engineering. It's a hybrid role: half business analysis (processes, requirements, gap analysis), half hands-on data (profiling, reconciliation, reporting). It's a great fit if you've been a BA or data analyst for a few years and want broad exposure to a real M&A integration.\nYou'll pick up tasks from the Program Director and workstream leads, following our existing M&A integration playbook and flagging anything that doesn't fit.\nPlatform consolidation\nHelp map the acquired platform: check types, workflows, candidate journeys, client configurations and edge cases.\n\nCarry out gap analysis against Veremark's product using the playbook templates, and present findings for decision.\n\nKeep the migration plan and tracker up to date: cohorts, cut-over dates, dependencies and actions.\n\nDocument current and future-state processes, and draft requirements and user stories for review.\n\nIntegrations and billing\nBuild and maintain the inventory of ATS/HRIS integrations, API consumers and webhooks, and each client's migration status.\n\nHelp map products, price books and contract terms onto Veremark's pricing, flagging anything that looks off.\n\nSupport Finance with billing reconciliation through cut-over.\n\nData, validation and reporting\nProfile the acquired platform's data with SQL: volumes, usage by client, active vs. dormant accounts, data quality.\n\nHelp build field-level mappings between the two data models, and test migrated data against them.\n\nRun the validation and reconciliation queries on each client cohort, and log and chase data issues.\n\nMaintain the migration dashboard and prepare data for PMO reporting.\n\nUse AI tools to speed up the work: summarising legacy docs, drafting mappings, cleansing and classifying data.\n\nPull usage and revenue data to help the PMO prioritise which clients move first.\n\nCustomers and stakeholders\nProvide data and client lists to Customer Success and Sales for migration comms.\n\nContribute progress, issues and data to the Program Director's weekly update.\n\nFollow Compliance guidance on consent, data residency and audit when handling migrated data.\n\nMust have\n2+ years as a business analyst, business systems analyst or data analyst, ideally in B2B SaaS.\n\nWorked on a platform migration, system implementation or integration project as part of a team.\n\nSolid SQL (joins, CTEs, aggregations): comfortable writing your own queries to profile and reconcile data.\n\nCore BA skills: process mapping, gap analysis, data mapping, requirements and user stories, UAT.\n\nSome experience building dashboards or reports in a BI tool (e.g. Looker, Metabase, Power BI).\n\nCurious about how systems fit together, and confident asking engineers about data models, APIs and integrations.\n\nComfortable working to direction and a set playbook, and knowing when to flag an issue rather than guess.\n\nMeticulous and organised, with a strong eye for detail and data accuracy.\n\nClear communicator who can explain data to non-technical people.\n\nNice to have\nExposure to pricing, contracts or billing data.\n\nExperience in background screening, HR tech, RegTech or another regulated industry.\n\nFamiliarity with ATS/HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Bullhorn).\n\nWorking knowledge of GDPR, data residency and audit requirements.\n\nPython for data cleansing and automation, or experience using AI tools to speed up analysis.\n\nPrevious exposure to an acquisition or post-merger integration.\n\n We are an all-remote organisation with ~200+ people spread across the world.
