In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner, helping leaders navigate complex people matters while ensuring alignment with company goals, policies, and employment regulations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nStrategic HR Partnership\nServe as a strategic thought partner to leaders across assigned business functions.\nProvide expert guidance across key HR disciplines, including performance management, talent management, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, HRIS, training and development, and EEO/AAP.\nPartner closely with HR Directors on employment law matters, performance improvement, and policy interpretation to ensure consistent and compliant practices across the organization.\nProactively anticipate people needs and help leaders strengthen team effectiveness, productivity, and engagement.\nEmployee Lifecycle & Talent Support (5%)\nCollaborate with leaders to shape staffing strategies and define position requirements.\nPartner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring needs.\nSupport onboarding, engagement, and offboarding efforts by gathering feedback, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.\nAct as a coach and advisor to leaders, offering data-driven insights and solutions.\nTraining & Development (5%)\nPartner with Training & Development and business leaders to identify training needs.\nHelp develop and deliver corporate, regulatory, and functional training and orientation programs.\nLeverage development opportunities across functions to improve performance and productivity.\nEmployee Relations & Culture (5%)\nServe as a trusted advisor and consultant to leaders and employees on employee relations matters.\nProactively identify and address issues while ensuring fair, consistent application of policies.\nPromote recognition, effective communication, and strong manager-employee relationships.\nEscalate and collaborate with HR Directors on complex or sensitive employee relations issues.\nPerformance Management & Talent Development (5%)\nSupport continuous performance management practices, including goal setting, talent reviews, succession planning, and annual reviews.\nCoach leaders on delivering feedback, documenting performance, and managing improvement plans.\nReview and refine performance improvement plans to ensure clarity, fairness, and alignment with the S.M.A.R.T. model.\nIdentify training, development, and experiential opportunities to optimize performance.\nCompensation, Benefits & HR Administration (5%)\nLead and oversee HR Generalists/Representatives to ensure timely and accurate HR processes.\nPartner with HR Directors and Corporate Compensation to develop and execute compensation and total rewards strategies.\nEnsure effective benefits communication and administration.\nBuild, evaluate, update, and level job descriptions.\nSupport EEO programs and compliance in partnership with Corporate Resources.\nSafety & Workers Compensation (5%)\nCoordinate workers’ compensation efforts to minimize costs and improve outcomes.\nParticipate in local safety committees and support workplace safety initiatives.\nHelp drive improvements related to ergonomics, security, and emergency preparedness.\nPeople Leadership (5%)\nLead, develop, and mentor HR Generalists and/or Representatives.\nManage recruitment, workload allocation, goal setting, and performance management for your team.\nPartner with senior and location leadership to create development opportunities and achieve HR and business objectives.\n Education & Experience\nBachelor’s degree or 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience (preferred)\n5-7 years of relevant HR experience\n1-3 years of people management or supervisory experience\nSkills & Capabilities\nStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and training delivery skills\nHigh credibility with demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships\nStrong collaboration, influence, negotiation, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment\nProficiency with MS Office, including Excel\n Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000 Annually\nPosition is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program\nApplications will be accepted through November 30, 2026, after which the posting will be closed and no longer available for submissions\nVericast offers a generous total rewards benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, and a generous PTO allowance.
