This role is responsible for the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud and identity services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Entra ID, M365 email systems, and emerging AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role, not a pure architecture position. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth and the ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and operate cloud and identity solutions in a production environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAzure Platform Engineering\nDesign, implement, and support Azure-based infrastructure and services\nOperate and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments\nEnsure platform scalability, availability, and cost efficiency\nImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)\nIdentity & Access Management\nAdminister and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)\nDesign and maintain:Single Sign-On (SSO)\nConditional Access policies\nIdentity lifecycle and governance processes\n\nIntegrate enterprise applications with identity solutions (e.g., SailPoint or similar platforms)\nMicrosoft 365 Platform\nSupport and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and email integrations\nTroubleshoot issues across Azure, Entra ID, and M365 services\nImplement and support security and compliance controls across the M365 platform\nAI & Copilot Enablement\nSupport and operationalize Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio\nAssist with integration of Copilot into enterprise workflows and business applications\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for AI-enabled productivity tools\nOperations & Support\nServe as an escalation point for complex platform and identity issues\nPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term remediation\nMonitor platform health, performance, and security posture\nExcellent communicator both written and verbal.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated cloud and identity solutions\n Education\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.\nExperience\n3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, systems engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience developing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining business applications and systems.\nExperience participating in cross-functional projects and delivering technology solutions in a business environment.\nExperience estimating technical work efforts and supporting solution delivery.\n Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 (Based on verified experience)\nApplications will be accepted until the posted deadline November 25, 2026 or until a sufficient candidate pool has been identified.\nThe ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.\nVericast offers a generous total rewards benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K with company match and generous PTO allowance.
