As our Programme Manager, Cloud Services DevOps, you'll oversee our enterprise-wide cloud services and infrastructure transformation initiatives. You will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy, financial planning and technical execution. You will work across cross-functional engineering teams, manage delivery and governance, and optimize our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and cloud hosting environments (AWS/Azure).\nKey Responsibilities\nProgramme & Delivery Management\nEnd-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for the delivery of complex cloud, infrastructure, and automation programmes from inception to completion\nGovernance & Reporting: Implement robust project governance, track budgets, manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and report progress to senior stakeholders\nResource Allocation: Coordinate with onshore and offshore engineering teams, defining roles, workflows, and deliverables schedules\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between software development, IT operations, finance, security, and external clients\nTechnical & DevOps Oversight \nCloud Strategy: Oversee the management and scaling of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Private Cloud)\nAutomation & CI/CD: Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins\nOperational Security: Embed security standards (DevSecOps), compliance requirements, and ITIL frameworks into the core delivery lifecycle\nPerformance Optimization: Monitor platform reliability, uptime targets (SLAs), and logging/monitoring frameworks\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nProven track record of managing enterprise-scale cloud transformation or DevOps programmes\nStrong background working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models within fast-paced environments\nBudget management experience and familiarity with tracking toolsets (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project)\nTechnical competencies\n3rd party vendor collaboration\nDeep conceptual or hands-on understanding of cloud architecture (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, containerization/Kubernetes)\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)\nAwareness of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)\nSoft Skills and Leadership\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills to articulate technical solutions to non-technical audiences\nStrong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide engineering teams through operational change\nOur Commitment\nVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
