You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure product quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle - working closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to continuously raise the bar on quality. \nThis is a role for someone who brings a quality-first mindset, a passion for automation, and the curiosity to apply AI-driven approaches and payment domain expertise to modern QA challenges. You will not just find bugs - you will help prevent them. \nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing\nDefine and implement QA strategies aligned with sprint cycles and release pipelines\nIntegrate AI and ML tools into QA workflows to enhance test coverage, defect prediction, and root cause analysis\nCollaborate with development teams across all phases of the SDLC to shift quality left\nExecute and document manual testing for payment terminals, POS devices, and pinpads as needed\nAnalyze test results, identify failure patterns, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices\nParticipate in code reviews for test scripts and automation logic\nSupport certification processes with international payment schemes including Mastercard, Visa, and AMEX\nDocument test plans, test cases, certification evidence, and defect reports clearly and thoroughly\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.\nProficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Robot Framework.\nExperience with API testing tools including Postman or RestAssured.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nSolid understanding of BDD, TDD, and risk-based testing methodologies.\nBasic scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.\nExperience with Git for version control.\nKnowledge of or demonstrated interest in AI/ML-assisted testing tools and approaches.\nSelf-driven and collaborative, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.\nEnglish B2-C1 (Intermediate-Advanced) required for technical documentation, test reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with international teams.\nPreferred Experience \nEMV transaction flows, chip card processing, and ARQC/ARPC cryptographic cycles.\nISO 8583 financial message structure, bitmap fields, and response codes.\nAsynchronous communication in payment environments - timeout handling, retries, and transaction state management.\nHands-on experience with BTT (Bank Testing Tool) or similar terminal simulation tools.\nKnowledge of L1, L2, and L3 EMV certification requirements and experience preparing evidence for payment scheme audits.\nFamiliarity with PCI-DSS, HSM operations, PIN encryption, and cryptographic key management.\nTransaction log analysis using TLV parsers and host simulators.\nOur commitment\nVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
