You will guide customers through the full integration journey - from initial implementation and validation through to troubleshooting and issue resolution - across both device and non-device payment integrations. \nThis is a role for someone who is equally comfortable writing code and talking to customers - a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, self-learning environment and takes ownership of outcomes. You will also play an important role in testing new sample code and solutions, light project management for smaller engagements, and leveraging AI tools - including Claude - to improve how we work, document, and deliver. \nResponsibilities\nCustomer Integration & Technical Support \nGuide customers through the implementation and integration of Verifone payment solutions, covering both device and non-device integrations \nSupport customers through validation processes and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating internally and raising tickets as needed \nManage customer expectations effectively, communicating clearly and professionally throughout the integration lifecycle \nTravel to customer sites as needed (approximately 10-15%) to support integrations and deliver hands-on training on integration methods \nTechnical Development & Testing \nTest and evaluate new sample code and solutions as they are developed, providing practical feedback to internal teams \nWrite and review code in Java and/or Kotlin; apply hands-on programming skills to support customer integration work and internal tooling \nUse REST API programming to build and validate integrations; apply Android development experience where relevant \nLeverage AI tools - with a specific focus on Claude - for programming tasks, creating skills and tools, generating documentation, and improving workflow efficiency \nProject Management & Documentation \nProject manage smaller integration engagements that do not have formal PMO support, keeping timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables on track \nProvide and maintain weekly project status updates across all active projects \nDocument issues, resolutions, and integration guidance clearly in Jira, Confluence, and other tools to build a reusable knowledge base \nQualifications \nHands-on Java and/or Kotlin programming experience - this is a core requirement for the role \nExperience in a customer-facing technical role, such as integration engineering, technical support, or solutions engineering \nAbility to work effectively in a self-learning environment, taking ownership of problems and driving them to resolution with minimal supervision \nHands-on experience with REST API programming is a strong plus \nAndroid device and Android Studio experience is a strong plus \nWorking knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, and Postman is a strong plus \nKnowledge of Swift, .NET, or Python programming is a plus \nDemonstrated competence using AI models in a technical context - experience with Claude specifically is highly valued; ability to use AI for coding tasks, documentation, and building tools and skills \nStrong written communication skills - able to document issues, resolutions, and project status clearly and consistently \nWillingness to travel to customer sites approximately 10-15% of the time \nOur commitment\nVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
