Currently, we do allow a hybrid work schedule but we regularly revisit our attendance policy.\nWhat's Exciting About The Role \nAs a Technical Project Manager, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of assigned payment solution projects in the South Africa region, as part of the new Customer Success Implementations team.\nThis role is an incredible opportunity to be at the heart of customer success, driving impactful projects and ensuring seamless delivery of Verifone’s cutting-edge payment solutions. You'll work with cross-functional teams, tackle complex implementations, and play a key role in shaping the customer experience. \nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Coordination\nSupport the delivery of small to medium-sized technical projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.\nAssist in defining project objectives, schedules, and communication plans with guidance from senior team members.\nMonitor project risks and dependencies, escalating issues as needed.\nContribute to quality assurance efforts across project deliverables.\nProvide regular status updates to stakeholders and project leads.\nTechnical Collaboration\nWork with technical teams to understand integration requirements and system dependencies.\nTranslate basic technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders with support.\nStakeholder Engagement\nServe as a point of contact for customers during project execution, with support from Customer Success Implementations team\nParticipate in project meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.\nOccasionally support on-site client visits to assist with delivery and relationship building.\nTeam Collaboration & Development\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support resource coordination and issue resolution.\nActively participate in team knowledge sharing and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.\nTake ownership of personal development and stay informed on relevant industry trends and PM practices.\nSkills and Experience We Desire \nProven experience in customer success, project management, or a related role, ideally within payments, fintech, or SaaS \nPassion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, project planning and execution and critical problem-solving \nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels \nAbility to understand and explain technical payment solutions to non-technical audiences \nStrong technical understanding, solid project coordination skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external customers\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities \nWhy Join Verifone? \nBe part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and growth \nWork with a collaborative and passionate team in a dynamic and evolving industry \nEnjoy competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment. \nOur Commitment \nVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
