Working on-site at a supplier facility in Western Ukraine (Mukachevo area anticipated), the program involves supporting the establishment of a production capacity for machining of customer furnished forgings.\nPrimary Focus: Machining process deployment & manufacturing capability establishment\nRole Purpose:\nTo establish, commission, and stabilise machining capability at customer supplier site for customer-furnished forged components, ensuring new equipment, tooling, and processes are fully deployed and capable of supporting NPI production.\nPrimary Activity:\nSupport commissioning and deployment of newly installed machining equipment supporting forged components\nValidate machining processes, tooling, fixtures, cutting strategies, and machine programmes\nVerify routings, set-ups, and work instructions for machining of customer-supplied forgings\nSupport shop floor lay out and optimisation of machining processes\nEnsure forging handover requirements (condition, traceability, material state) are correctly managed at receipt\nIdentify manufacturing risks affecting dimensional integrity, surface finish, or material condition post-machining\nOversee operator training and ensure machining processes are repeatable and controlled\nInterface with supplier engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues\nProvide regular readiness and risk reporting to customer stakeholders\nSupport formal handover into Phase II activities\nRequired Experience & Competencies:\nMinimum 5+ years’ experience in aerospace, defence, or heavy engineering manufacturing environments\nStrong hands-on experience with machining of forged components\nProven background in equipment commissioning, CNC machining process set-up, and industrialisation\nStrong understanding of machining risks associated with forged materials (distortion, residual stress, surface integrity)\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, routings, and technical documentation\nFluent in both Ukrainian and English highly desirable\nDefence manufacturing experience highly desirable\nWillingness to travel to the UK for program
